Team FR Sport Scores Another 1st Place in STX

Event: 2014 SCCA Regional at the El Toro MCAS RD 9

In the super hot summer this past weekend, team FR Sport landed yet another STX win and a solid performance by all of their drivers. Steve O’Blenes, Mike Yanase, and Catherine Tran were in action tearing up the tarmac at the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station once again.

Steve O’Blenes again won the first place trophy for himself and team FR Sport this past weekend. Going into the Nebraska Nationals, he is the man to watch as he continues to pile on first place finish after first place finish

In the video above you can check out his fastest run at the Sunday event at the El Toro course. Steve also ending up coming 3rd in the PAX satndings, which means out of all the cars there he was the 3rd fastest overall.

Mike Yanase, another pilot of the FR Sport Subaru BRZ, finished not too far back in the standings, ending up in the 3rd place spot for the highly competitive STX class.

Rounding out the group of FR Sport drivers is Catherine Tran, whom placed a solid time among a group of extremely fierce STX drivers.
